The Cabins at Crooked Pines ( I loved that name for an Intrawest project but this is probably the best built project of all the Intrawest developments) was completed in 2005 and is located along the 4th fairway at Sierra Star golf course. These units feature radiant heating and hot water from the common area boilers. The common area fees are higher but that heating and hot water are included, and the heating is very effective and comfortable. The interior of the unit has a slate entry, wood floors, solid wood doors, built-in cabinetry, granite tiled kitchen, wood encasement windows, stack washer/dryer, and more. There is a nice patio area with a private BBQ. The common area has a nice spa overlooking the fairway and a common area BBQ/gathering area. The project has understructure parking. The short sale will be negotiated by a professional negotiator at a small expense to the buyer (but that is well worth it!) The initial asking price is $265,000 (I didn’t set the price) but I believe it will go to contract at above that. This is a nice property in a modern project. It is walkable to Eagle Express; easy to drive the car over in the early morning and get an upfront parking spot, come back for breakfast, and then the whole family can use the car as a ski hub.
