Mountain Meadows #26 — This new bank owned REO may not be in Mammoth Lakes proper but it is located in the same zip code. This is located in the community of Crowley Lake. These spacious townhomes were originally designed for more local-resident-type living but because of their current values and tremendous utility, they can make great crash pads for second homeowners. This particular floorplan was originally a 3 bedroom / 2 bath. But after some modifications by a previous owner, the floorplan is more like a 2 bedroom plus den. The master bedroom occupies the entire third floor and almost works like a master bedroom with a den. The real plus for some is the oversized garage–room for 2 cars plus tons of toys or a workshop. This is a snowmobilers dream garage. There’s even a large laundry and utility room. Previous owners have made some nice upgrades to the property including wood floors and a remodeled master bath. There is a newer pellet stove for the primary heat source. All the kitchen appliances are included. The property is very clean and really in “move-in” condition. Great windows, light and views. As a potential crashpad this property offers so much utility; big garage and storage galore, plenty of space for trundle beds, Murphy beds, inflatable beds, etc., exterior deck space for BBQ and fun, and lots more. This could work well as a partnership crashpad. The HOA fees are on the low side. We expect this to be priced in the $210-220,000 range and the project (so far) is financeable. And no short sale uncertainty heading into the winter fun months!
I’m scared to ask what the HOA is?
Hey Bobby, thanks for taking time off from the tour to read the blog! The common area fee is $400 per month. The unit does have a new(er) roof and was just painted.
Thanks Paul.
