141 Larkspur Lane — Now this isn’t for everybody (what is?) and it isn’t in Mammoth, but it is in the same zip code as Mammoth. This bank owned home is in the Rocking R subdivision in Crowley Lake. It is located at the end of a dead-end street and backs up to open space and overlooks the new baseball field. This is a modern built 4 bedroom + den / 3 bath home with garage. It is an efficient floorplan with all of the bedrooms and laundry room upstairs. The views are incredible. Out the front of the house there are expansive views of the Lake. Out the back are impressive “looking up” views of the Sierra range and back to McGee Canyon. This isn’t priced yet but it may come in under $400,000. The property is in good condition; it need a little TLC but overall appears to be sound and reasonably clean. This will likely end up in the hands of a local family, but sometimes I wonder why second homeowners don’t look more closely at properties like this. This would make a great second home. Of course, you’re not in town. But when you look at the utility and efficiency compared to what the same money buys in Mammoth…. And locals will tell you that it gets colder in winter down in Crowley, but summer lasts a month longer and starts a month earlier. And you can figure on a fraction of the snowfall. Like I said, not for everybody, but certainly worth consideration. Now listed at $397,500.
I like what they’ve done with the lawn.
I mean, I like Crowley, but 400 large?
